On April 20, 2015, the German Harley factory in Fenmei Packaging successfully passed the BRC/IoP and ISO 9001 standard auditing certification of Germany, and obtained high-level A-level certification.
BRC/IoP standard is an internationally recognized standard for food packaging hygiene and safety. Packaging materials that meet the standards can be directly in contact with food. During the four-day BRC/IoP audit, the Fenmei German factory has undergone strict review of the BRC/IoP standards in terms of production processes, products, corresponding documents and other requirements, and has obtained high-level A-level certification. This also shows that Fonmei Packaging's unremitting efforts in hygiene and food safety have been recognized.
At the same time, the German factory of Fenmei Packaging also successfully passed the systematic audit of the ISO9001 quality management system with a pass rate of 100%.
"We are proud to be able to pass the certification and achieve such good results. This definitely shows that the equipment, production processes and employee capabilities of our German factory have reached advanced levels. At the same time, it also confirms that Fenmei can not only fulfill its obligations for product safety and quality management, but also strive for excellence and continue to surpass." said Bi Hua, CEO of Fenmei Packaging.
About BRC/IoP packaging material standards
It is understood that the BRC/IoP packaging material standard is a standard for reviewing food packaging suppliers formulated by the British Retail Consortium and the Institute of Packaging, and has been widely recognized by retailers and the industry around the world. BRC/IoP packaging materials standards include organizational structure, hazard and risk management system, technical management system, factory standards, pollution control and personnel. Certified certifications prove the compliance of food packaging suppliers in hazard and risk management, hygiene, product safety and quality systems. Levels certified and given ratings are A, B and C. All three levels must meet the basic requirements and intentions targeted by the standards. The differences in levels are determined by the number of problems that need to be solved on the main and secondary issues.
